Terry Hanzlik

Dr. Terry Hanzlik, band director at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is in his 8th year of teaching. Dr. Hanzlik has taught instrumental music for 30 years in the state of Iowa and has taught music theory over the ICN for the past two years. In addition, he taught at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln while pursuing a PhD in music education. Dr. Hanzlik serves as a clinician, adjudicator and guest conductor throughout the Midwest. He is the father of three children who are all employed as musicians throughout the United States. The University of Nebraska Health system employs his wife, Teresa.
