Terry Frisch
Terry Frisch holds a BA degree in Physics from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. His Iowa teaching certifications include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physical Science. He has compiled 39 years of teaching experience in Iowa and Minnesota schools.
Mr. Frisch is a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers, Phi Delta Kappa, the Iowa Academy of Science, and the Iowa Chemistry Education Alliance. He was named the Johnston School Foundation 2004 Teacher of the Year and was nominated for Iowa Teacher of the Year. He has been selected by Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois to pilot the National Science Foundation funded Materials World Modules. He also serves on the Nanoscale Science Center for Learning and Teaching. Mr. Frisch enjoys canoeing, fishing, camping, travel, reading, biking, hiking, coaching, and spending time with his grandchildren.
